Dear Liberty Safe Company:

My name is Tracey. On April 27, 2014, my house and shop in Arkansas were totally taken by an EF-4 tornado. We lost everything. Several report of others with gun safes bolted to the concrete floor were tossed about and many of the safe's doors were torn open and the safe's filled with water, mud and debris. I had a Liberty gun safe, product model Franklin 25, purchased on 4 Dec, 2006, and installed in my shop. Thank goodness my guns were in the safe! The safe was thrown about 150 feet from where it was in my shop and landed in water and muddy debris. The tornado tossed the safe, bent and scratched it up. The combination dial was caked with mud and grass. I cleaned it out with my pocket knife and it opened on the second try! Our guns were a little scratched up, but they all survived and were dry and safe. That night after the tornado hit, it rained about 5 inches. The following day when I opened the safe, I was glad to see our guns were not wet! When people ask what safe company I recommend, I will be glad to tell them Liberty Safe Company!!

Thank you Liberty Safe Company!! Job Well Done!!

Guns were protected
William S. from Missouri went through the unfortunate experience of a house fire. Luckily he had planned ahead and purchased a Liberty Franklin to protect his Firearms. As you can see, his guns (a whole bunch of them) were kept safe and sound.

We were burglarized today -- broad daylight. The burglars turned over our Franklin model purchased in 2006 -- all 700 lbs of it! They used every power tool in our garage -- drills, saws -- and then hammers and various prying tools to try to get that safe open. The hardware is gone and they turned our house upside down -- dumped every single drawer -- looking for the key. But that safe held. Thanks Liberty Safes!!
Liberty Safe Survives Moore, Oklahoma F5 Tornado

MOORE, OK, May 21, 2013 - A volunteer driving through the devastation of the Moore tornado last May passed miles of cement pads where homes once stood, and suddenly came upon a black rectangular object still standing, apparently unphased.

"I came across an area where a home used to be," said Derek. "The tornado completely removed all of the house from the foundation, the only thing that remained was a Liberty safe!"

The F5 tornado that touched down in Moore on May 20, 2013, ripped homes into the air before shredding them into millions of small pieces, and flinging the wreckage for miles. The terrific winds swept the cement pads clean of debris before moving on. As Derek noted, even those fatal 210 mile-per-hour swirling winds could not remove the Liberty safe from its place.

Photos show a few scratches on the safe but nothing to indicate it was once surrounded by a full-sized home filled with all the appliances, furniture, belongings, bricks and framing that constitute a typical home.

When properly bolted to the foundation, property owners report their Liberty safes have endured tornados, hurricanes, earthquakes, and thieves looking to haul them away. For this property owner in Moore, OK, everything that mattered the most, next to family and pets, was all that remained inside that Liberty safe. It was a foundation upon which to rebuild and start over.

Liberty safe, the best-built safes on the planet.
