I am a 57 year old woman who never thought she would need a safe. Until last year, when I began target shooting...then obtained my CCW permit...and then bought guns. I began thinking about purchasing a safe when I bought my second weapon and began purchasing all-too-scarce ammunition. While I wanted a safe, I did not want a huge one. The Home 12 was a perfect choice for me. Exactly the storage space I was looking for to safely store guns, important papers, etc.
The Liberty brand and the retailer (Dungarees) came highly recommended by my son. The order process was done quickly...I think it took about 10 weeks for the safe to arrive and we picked it up within a couple of days. It looks great, works great .... and I am completely pleased with the product.
In this day and age, I believe any single woman should have a thorough knowledge of self-defense and the proper storage of weapons and valuables. I am extremely glad that I do! |

The safe is small enough to be placed in bedroom, but is big enough to keep the most important documents in a cool pocket and my and wife's side arms with a few spare magazines.
BTW, it can also be used as a nice bedside night table :-)

I had done research in web and had a catalog from Liberty and called to make sure they had the safe we were interested in. Went to the store Friday afternoon, purchased it and they had a truck going our way on Monday and was installed on their second delivery and installed by noon on that Monday |

The TV ad that shows the attempted destruction of a Liberty safe is fantastic. If your safes stand up to that much abuse I will never have to worry about someone getting into my safe.
While I was purchasing the safe the sales rep told me that something happened to one of the Liberty safes that he had sold and a Liberty safe technician had to be called to get it opened. He told me that it took the Liberty safe technician 4 hours to get in the safe and he knew what he was doing.
So imagine someone who just thinks he knows what he is doing. I believe it would be practically impossible for an amateur to break in my safe.

Overall, I am very happy with this safe model for my handguns, ammo, valuables, and other personal articles. Safe has great storage size, and will be adding more to fill it!
My only negative comment is the interior cloth / fabric on this model compared to other larger models I viewed. The interior cloth / fabric on this model, the Safe Home 8, seemed a little thin and not as heavy compared to other Liberty models
Otherwise, great safe and am very happy with the purchase. |

We always knew Liberty made a great safe, but after reading all the reviews and watching a YouTube video on the John Deere / Liberty safe test, where they heated up a Liberty safe against a close competitor to 1200 degrees for 30 or 45 minutes. I was really impressed with the way the Liberty safe came out of that test. It did not burn the money that was put in the safe and the competitors was burnt up.

Purchased the Liberty Home Series LH12. It's smaller than the full size ones, but has all the protection. It's perfect for my hand guns and other items like important documents and electronics. It's heavy, yet the door and locking mechanism move with ease. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. |

This is our second Liberty Safe. Our first safe was a 48" model which we utilized for document safekeeping, jewelry and valuables. We chose this model because the interior configuration met our needs and we were able to arm the safe and configure to our home security system. We owned that safe for 6 years and it was trouble free and and opened flawlessly. We recently downsized and moved to a smaller home. We chose to leave the 48"safe with thatl home since we would be quite limited with space in our new home. We selected a smaller safe which will continue to meet the needs we have to safely and securely store our documents, jewelry and valuables. |

Well, I will tell you. When I received my Liberty safe I felt like I had bought a quality product. Although no safe is free from breach or destruction, Liberty safes have a reputation. And after all isn't that one of the most important aspects. First impressions right? If a cop makes you think twice before deciding whether or not to fight. Then part of the battle is already won. So with the skills that Liberty has built into their safes I feel that my safe will at least give a thief a workout. And on top of it all, I can have some assurance that if my safe is in a fire, the things inside will be protected. |

The dealer was excellent with giving advice and recommendations. We new we wanted a Liberty Safe so it was a matter of picking out the size and features. The manual is easy to read and understand. Changing the master combination was extremely easy. Safe looks and works great. |

I needed a compact size safe and wanted a digital lock. The interior height of the LH12 allows me to store my short barrel rifles. With some modifications to the upper adjustable shelf. I am able to store all my valuables including rifles. I had some notches cut in the shelf to allow me to prop up the rifles. I removed the other shelves and have plenty of room for ammo and other valuables. The safe is solid, attractive and the digital lock is easy to operate. I'm very pleased with this safe. |
