Assembler

Salary Range:$16.5000 To 17.5000 Hourly

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Receiving finished product from production timely, keeping up with pace as they finish
  • Accurately putting product away and tracking it within the warehouse

Swing Shift Maintenance and Tooling

We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance and Tooling Technician to become an integral part of our team! You will primarily be responsible for general maintenance and tooling to support production needs. Hours will be Monday - Thursday, 3:30 pm - 2:00 am for swing shift. Friday's are sometimes worked.

Sales Support and Inventory Analyst

This position reports to the Sales Support Manager and is a part of the sales organization. They will be responsible for helping our customers achieve their sales, margins, and inventory turn objectives each year through the utilization of Liberty’s Inventory Management Program. In addition, the Sales Support and Inventory Planning Analyst will continue to refine and streamline processes internally and with our customers.

Waterjet Operator

Salary Range:$19.0000 To 19.0000 Hourly
 

We currently have openings on our Swing Shift Waterjet team! We are currently looking for hard-working and responsible applicants to work in our waterjet room, running the machines and moving the product along in a timely manner to keep the production line moving.

Responsibilities in the water jet room include:

  • Loading/unloading water jet machines
  • Running water jet machines to cut sheetrock
  • Ensuring sheetrock is cut in timely manner based off of shop needs
  • Sorting cut sheetrock and getting it to areas it is needed throughout the shop
  • General cleanliness and upkeep of area
  • Helping out with sheetrock install or other areas and machines as needed and dictated by supervisor/manager

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to consistently lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must be self-motivated and able to work continuously at a fast pace
  • Have a willing attitude and be willing to move to other positions as needed.
  • Previous assembly work experience is a plus.

We are looking for welders and grinders to join our Manufacturing team to be involved in the process of building our home and gun safes. Responsibilities:

  • Must be able to weld and/or grind to help the line as needed

  • Verify parts are dimensionally correct and meet quality standards
  • Must be able and willing to run all machines if needed
  • Meet daily production requirements as scheduled
  • Perform operator PM’s on equipment
  • Ensure high quality parts/grinds/welds
  • Keep area clean and organized
  • Follow company safety regulations
  • Report scrap steel on a daily basis
  • Willing to learn and move around as assigned by superiors

Process Engineer

Industrial Engineer

Job Summary

This position will collaborate with production personnel to design and/or modify efficient, cost effective systems that integrate workers, information, machines and materials to improve product quality and cost. The I. E. will also assist with the development of new equipment and/or tooling that will help increase throughput, improve quality and ensure safety. They will design, develop and maintain process routs and work instructions to maximize effectiveness, efficiency and space. The I.E. will also assist with worker compliance for all industry standards for safety.

Job Responsibilities

  • Learn and understand current manufacturing methods on all Liberty Safe products. This includes current production lines and associated processes, tack times and related deficiencies.
  • Design and develop usable work instructions with simplistic wording and visual aids. These work instructions will be job specific and modified as required. Develop short videos that demonstrate proper work methods when applicable.
  • Assist with “Cause and Corrective Actions” for all quality issues related to processes and safety. Verify that sustainable process and tooling changes are completed and implemented. Modify work instructions as required and verify that any training needed is completed.
  • Review product and component flows to support efficient material handling.
  • Develop process improvements which support better efficiencies and higher levels of production.  

I.E. Qualifications and Skills

  • Education – four year engineering degree.
  • Previous Job Experience – five years in related industry.
  • Excellent Communication Skills.
  • Technical Skills – computer skills, writing skills, understanding of equipment and processes related to metal manufacturing – sheet metal, machined parts and finishing processes.
  • Ability to design technical plans, drawings and processes.
  • Ability to help implement cost reduction methods while supporting quality and safety standards.
