Dry Rod Dehumidifier

Enhance the protection of your valuables with the Liberty Safe Dry Rod Dehumidifier, an effective solution for maintaining optimal humidity levels inside your gun safe. Operating at a surface temperature of approximately 100-120 degrees Fahrenheit, this dehumidifier generates natural convection that gradually circulates warm, dry air throughout your safe, ensuring a constant 24-hour cycle of humidity control.

By raising the air temperature inside your safe above the ambient outside temperature, the heated air expands and forces moist air out through small cracks in the safe door, effectively removing excess humidity and preventing moisture buildup. For optimal performance, it is recommended to mount the dehumidifier horizontally at the bottom of the safe, though it can also be mounted against a wall.

While reducing humidity is gradual, if you do not observe a decrease after a few weeks, consider upgrading to a longer unit or exploring alternative dehumidifier options like our PEET dehumidifier.

We recommend investing in the Liberty Safe Electrical Outlet Kit to power your electrical gun cabinet dehumidifier. This kit, standard on all Franklin gun safes and higher models, provides convenient access to power inside your safe, ensuring seamless operation of your dehumidifier.

Protect your valuable firearms and belongings from moisture damage with the Liberty Safe Dry Rod Dehumidifier and Electrical Outlet Kit—essential accessories for every safe owner.
