great little gauge...

I bought 2 of these one for inside .. one for outside. they seem to work great. the humidity level inside the safe is quite a bit lower than the outside with 1 peet dehumidifier and 1 rod dehumidifier. well pleased with product !!

It works as advertised. The humidity almost immediately increases when the door is opened. With silica gel dehumidifier ... inside is 42% relative hum and 78degF. Can't remember if that's a good range.

Hi Tom, thank you for the five star review! The NRA recommends keeping the humidity in your gun safe between 30% and 50% and the temperature around 60-70 degrees Fahrenheit if possible.
