    Customer Support Is Non-Responsive When Needed

    Received my new HDV-150 Handgun Vault and during set up when charging the unit, it did not operate according to what the instruction booklet stated. I attempted multiple calls to Customer Support from 8:00 am, 9:00 am and 10:00 am on the same day and experienced no ability to get through until the 10:00 am timeframe. I am on EST and there is no indication in the booklet of the time availability and time zones for Customer Support. After the 10:00 am attempt, the call finally went through to the voice response automated system. The system had me on elevator music "hold" for an eternity until finally forcing me to leave a message for a callback. Why I had to remain on hold for 5 minutes or more only to be forced to leave a voicemail is ridiculous. If they aren't going to answer, it should direct you to leave a voicemail right away. It has now been well over 24 hours and I have still NOT received a call back to answer my simple question. I am concerned my unit is NOT charging properly, although it seems to be working thus far. However, if I have a bad rechargeable battery or the charging unit is not charging the battery properly, then I could be relegated to key entry only when I don't expect it. In an emergency, that situation would create anxiety, confusion if awakened out of sleep, and ultimately keep me from accessing my weapon quickly enough. Fast & efficient access is critical to home personal safety. I need answers and am VERY unhappy the Customer Support people are still "radio silent." :(
