WE live in Florida where humidity is high year round. My safe is in a portion of the house that is not under air yet the humidity with the PEET unit remains under 40%. This item has been working continuously for over 1 year now and I anticipate many more.

This great little dehumidifier keeps the interior of my safe dry and a few degrees warmer. The little chimney allows convection to help deliver warm dry air to all of my safes contents. I have tried the "rod" type but i'm much happier with my Peet!

PEET dehumidifier size

Dehumidifier works fine, reduced humidity from 60 to 47 percent is less than an hour and has held it steady for two days now. Dissapointed is size and square footprint. Liberty website had small PEET dehumidifier as option one on ordering with a triangular footprint but actual ordering process only had large PEET model available with a square footprint so you had to order it. Takes up more space in the Revere 30 safe and cost more.
